Our Story
Headquartered in Miami with a production facility in Guérande, France, Armax was founded in 2021 by François Cassou.
A seasoned electrical engineer, François spent 15 years at Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, overseeing lighting systems across crew and passenger cabins. Driven by a desire to take on broader challenges, he went on to join Royal Caribbean Group as Senior Electrical Superintendent — deepening his expertise at the highest level of the cruise industry.
It was during this journey that a clear opportunity came into focus: the market lacked suppliers capable of delivering truly innovative, bespoke lighting solutions for the sophisticated demands of ship owners and luxury operators alike. At the same time, François observed a decisive shift — interiors were becoming more dynamic, more experiential, and far more demanding than conventional illumination could serve.

Cristina, our Design Manager, brings a rare ability to bridge imagination and execution. Based in Peru, she is at the heart of every project — translating client vision into designs that are as practical as they are compelling.
Kamil Brylowski oversees all technical aspects of our installations, ensuring flawless execution from first drawings to final commissioning. His expertise in lighting control systems and data integration is central to what makes Armax installations perform at the highest level.
Benoît Roux, our PMO Operations Lead, brings 25 years of cross-industry project management experience to the team. His command of logistics, project monitoring, and media content ensures that every delivery is coordinated, on time, and on brief.
